South Buxton Raceway promoters Anne and Blake Outhouse announced a rain date in case this Saturday’s Championship Night is affected by weather.

If Championship Night is postponed this Saturday, it will be rescheduled for Friday, Sept. 28 beginning at 7 p.m.

With the forecast calling for the possibility of rain on Saturday, Anne and Blake want a plan in place well in advance so drivers and fans can be prepared in case of a postponement.

The Schinkels Gourmet Meats UMP Modifieds, Glencoe Auto Recyclers UMP Late Models and Tirecraft Comp 4s are scheduled to run their season championship races this Saturday. The TUSA Mod Lites are also slated to make their South Buxton debut.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the green flag waving at 7 p.m.

The eighth annual Canadian Fall Shootout is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29.
