Okay everyone, keep your fingers crossed that ‘four’ is our lucky number.
South Buxton Raceway will try for a fourth time to run its memorial night, the first time in many years the track has attempted to run multi-memorial features on a single race night.
Memorial races will be held in honour of Gord DeWael (Lube Tech/Great Canadian Oil Change UMP Late Models , Brian Outhouse (Schinkels Gourmet Meats UMP Modifieds), Cory Schives (Tirecraft Mini-Mods) and Len Bryden (Windride Transportation Sport Stocks).
Special reduced prices are in effect this Saturday - $10 for adults (ages 17-59); $8 seniors (60-over) and teens (13-16); $5 kids (ages 6-12) and free for kids 5-under. The pit admission will be $15 for everyone ages 6 and over - $10 off the regular fee.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and racing begins at 7 p.m.
The memorial date has been postponed by weather on June 1, July 6 and July 27 - the only three rainouts this season at the track.
