dukeStaff, drivers, crewmen and fans at South Buxton Raceway extend our deepest sympathy to the family of John Duquette of Blenheim, who passed away last Saturday at the age of 49.

Duke has been a familiar face at South Buxton Raceway for the past four decades. He won the 2004 Econo season championship race driving his No. 111 car and has been a long-time crew member of Brad McLeod’s race team. He owned Duke’s Truck Repair.

Duke is survived by his wife Shari (Suter), daughter Shaelyn and son Joseph.

Donations to Donor Awareness can be made through the Eric. F. Nicholls Funeral Home in Wallaceburg and online at  www.ericnichollsfuneralhome.com

As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Duke.
