This Saturday’s busy schedule starts off with a Car Show at Lube Tech/Valvoline from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Several cars from South Buxton Raceway’s five classes will be on display.
Drivers will have their Heroes Cards to sign for fans, who can get a good look at the cars up close, all cleaned up and ready for the night’s action.
There will be coupons from Lube Tech as well as from Value Village, which will have a display table at the event.
The Car Show will get fans and drivers all fired up for Saturday’s Memorial Night at South Buxton Raceway - memorial races for Gord DeWael (Lube Tech/Great Canadian Oil Change UMP Late Models) , Brian Outhouse (Schinkels Gourmet Meats UMP Modifieds), Cory Schives (Tirecraft Mini-Mods) and Len Bryden (Windride Transportation Sport Stocks).
Special reduced prices are in effect this Saturday - $10 for adults (ages 17-59); $8 seniors (60-over) and teens (13-16); $5 kids (ages 6-12) and free for kids 5-under. The pit admission will be $15 for everyone ages 6 and over - $10 off the regular fee.

Lube Tech and Value Village co-sponsoring the Memorial Night racing program - which has been rescheduled for this Saturday following postponements on June 1 and July 6.
Lube Tech is located at 495 Richmond St. in Chatham, directly across from the main office of the former Navistar building.
The Car Show will also promote the ‘Smokin Hot Holiday Weekend’ Tractor Pull and SOS Sprint shows on the Civic holiday weekend of Aug. 2-3.
South Buxton’s fifth annual Tractor Pull, featuring the Southwestern Ontario Tractor Pullers Association, takes place Friday, Aug. 2 (gates open 5:30p.m., action begins at 7 p.m.).
Modified and super farm tractors, plus the exciting 4×4 and 2W pickups will show off their muscle on the infield strip.
A beverage tent will be set up on the infield.
On Saturday, Aug. 3, the Southern Ontario Sprints return to South Buxton Raceway for the first time since 2009.
All of South Buxton’s regular cars will be in action as well, giving fans six exciting classes of stock car racing. Gates open at 5 p.m., and racing begins at 7 p.m.
