The second leg of the Outhouse Image & Design UMP Modified Summer Sizzler has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 4, at South Buxton Raceway.
A heavy overnight rainstorm left the South Buxton facility unsuitable for racing on Saturday, forcing the postponement of the Summer Sizzler.
Tilbury’s Tim Richardson won the Ohsweken Speedway portion of the Summer Sizzler on Friday.
As a result of rescheduling the Summer Sizzler, the UMP Modified Can-Am Clash slated for July 4, has been cancelled.
The UMP Modifieds will be racing for a $1,000 winner’s purse in the second leg of the Summer Sizzler. There is also a $500 bonus for the driver with the best two-night overall finish.
American and Canadian drivers who did not race at Ohsweken are still welcome to participate in the second leg of the Summer Sizzler at South Buxton.
